I was trying to be slightly creative today.
I thought, what if I had the choice to change the Palestinian national flag, anthem, and choose an animal or a bird to represent us?
Here's what I concluded:
1- It was hard for me to escape the general design and color scheme of a typical Palestinian Flag. (Three Stripes, a Triangle, and the colors Red, Black, White and Green.)

2- Surprisingly, I could not think of a single "national" mammal, I could only think of birds. The birds were all local to Palestine (some of them immigrate and come back).
3-These birds were: the Mourning Weatear (Oenanthe lugens) whose name and color could not be anymore appropriate and symbolic to our history; and the Black-crowned Night Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax) whose Arabic name is: Malik al-Lail al-Hazin or Wistful Night's King.
3- The national anthem was back to "Mawtini", currently used as Iraq's national anthem.
4- Flag #4, turned out to be the Hukumat 'umum Filastin All-Palestine Government Flag, a quasi-government that served under the Egyptian military rule of Gaza Strip following the defeat of the Arabs in 1948 war. The flag won't be adopted by me at any time.
